Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove Development Association

The Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove Development Association is a non-profit corporation that originally started as an ad hoc committee of the Town Council in 2000, before being incorporated in 2007. The Logy Bay Development Association Inc. works with residents to enhance the economic, cultural, social, recreational, and environmental needs of the community. Our motto is “Building Community Together”.

The volunteer-run Association’s mandate is to:

  1. develop economic, cultural, social, recreational and environmental projects to encourage a sense of community and improve the quality of life of residents of all ages;
  2. pursue tourism opportunities to enhance the community’s economic and social well-being.
  3. develop promotional initiatives for the Town;
  4. partner with municipal, provincial, and federal governments, as well as other community organizations on matters affecting the Town and its residents; and
  5. raise funds for carrying out and furthering the Association’s mandate.

Recent community projects, in partnership with the Town, that our Association has completed include the restoration of the Veterans Memorial Monument in Outer Cove, the Kelly Park community garden, and the Terry Fox mural on Outer Cove bridge.

Our Association meets every second Wednesday of the month and is guided by its 2021-2024 Strategic Plan. Follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com/LBMCOCDA, email us at lbmcocdevassoc@gmail.com or check out our website www.lbmcocdevelopment.org
