The Jack Byrne Arena is owned and operated by the communities of Logy Bay – Middle Cove – Outer Cove, Torbay, Flatrock and Pouch Cove.

The Arena was opened in October 2008 thanks in part to the late Jack Byrne for whom the Arena has been named.

The Jack Byrne Arena is home to the North East Minor Eagles, the North East Senior Eagles, the Junior Celtics and host to the Prince of Wales Skating Club. In addition to minor hockey and figure skating, it is enjoyed by hundreds of others for General Skating, Adult Skating, Parent and Tot Skating and in the summer months, Roller Skating.

The Jack Byrne Arena is located in Torbay, NL – just minutes away from Stavanger Drive in St. John’s.
